Logistics Operations and Support Manager

Work with the staff from both the Teen Engagement and Operations departments to create cohesive and efficient processes within the organization by providing logistics and support services. All candidates must be highly motivated and extremely detail oriented. They should be a self-starter with high energy.
Position Purpose
The Logistics and Operations Support Manager will manage the USY on Wheels summer program logistics and work with the Senior Director of Operations in providing support services for senior executives and board members. This position will work closely with the Director of Teen Travel and Programs and supervise the booking of travel and catering related needs and work with the Finance Department to reconcile of all corporate credit card charges.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Booking hotels, catering and transportation needs
- Manage logistics for supporting teen engagement programs
- Domestic transportation coordination. Assist with flight and travel
- Man bookings business accounts (ie, ordering of supplies)
- Work with staff and vendors to track expenses to project spending

They must be willing and able to be able to lift and move 50lbs (ie, move boxes onto a cart).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position exempt from overtime. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5pm. This is a full –time position exempt from overtime, which will require some extended hours and some weekends.
Travel
Limited travel is required.
Required Education and Experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent in work experience is required. 3+ years’ work experience in operations, logistics or support services is required. Preferred Education and Experience Familiarity with contracts, budgets, travel websites and project management systems are preferred. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Must be familiar with the religious practices of Conservative Judaism. Knowledge of kashrut requirements is a must
